Anna Kottkamp
Former MS student
Anna Kottkamp completed her masters degree in Marine Estuarine and Environmental Science in the Agroecology lab in December of 2019. While at UMD, she also held a Graduate Research Assistant with the National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC). Anna received her BS from the University of Notre Dame where she studied Environmental Science with a minor in International Development Studies. Her previous research experience with the Tank Lab at Notre Dame addressed the impacts of cover crops and floodplain restoration on water quality in Indiana. Anna was co-advised by Dr. Margaret Palmer. Her graduate research focused on the carbon dynamics in soils of geographically isolated wetlands on the Delmarva Peninsula. Anna currently the Sustainable Systems and Education Coordinator at Spark-Y in Minneapolis.
