Greenhouse Gas Technician
David earned his B.S. in Environmental Science and GIS from the University of Maryland-College Park in May 2024. While in college, he interned with an engineering firm, monitoring volatile organic compounds and sediment runoff on construction sites. As a student research assistant in Dr. Rabenhorst’s pedology lab, David conducted an honors thesis on porewater sulfide documentation in a tidal marsh, utilizing iron oxide coated films over the course of a year.
After graduating, David spent six months in Campania, Italy as an agronomy apprentice, focusing on cadmium uptake reduction in baby leaf vegetables.
In January 2025, David joined the Agroecology Lab as a research technician and will be in charge of greenhouse gas monitoring in various projects on the Delmarva Peninsula.
